FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: How did you get my name?

A: There are two ways that ESI finds out about good athletes from across the USA.
  • 1.  The ESI recruiting staff is in contact with clubs and state associations to find out which athletes receive some type of post season honor (All-District, All-Conference, All-State).
  • 2.  We also receive information from college coaches who submit athletes who are on their recruiting lists as well as athletes they have heard about about from high school coaches and others in their coaching network.

Q: How many players are there on each team?

A: Each team will have 10 players. ESI limits the number on each team to insure that every player gets to play the majority of each game, providing them a great chance to showcase their talents in front of college coaches.

Q: How many teams will there be?

A: We expect to have approximately 25-35 teams from the U.S. mainland. Some of the teams include Texas, Oklahoma, Iowa, Kansas, North Dakota, Indiana, Oregon, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Colorado, Tennessee, Georgia, Arizona, California, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Nebraska, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Utah, and Virginia

Q: Is there a payment plan or do I have to pay the full amount up front?

A: When you sign-up, a $300 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot on the team. After your initial deposit, you will need to make monthly payments on the 1st day of each month. Example: If your tour cost is $2,295 and you deposit $300, your remaining balance is $1,995. If your next payment is due in our office on November 1st (final payment is due April 1, 2007) you have a total of 6 payments.

Q: Are there scholarships or fundraising assistance available?

A: ESI is not directly involved with scholarships or fundraising. However, most of our athletes do some sort of fundraising on their own to help offset the cost of travel. If you would like some suggestions for fundraising, please contact our office at (800) 564-9192. For fundraising information available online, click here.

Q: Can parents and/or other relatives go?

A: Absolutely. The cost is the same as the cost for the athlete, which includes airfare, hotel (based on double occupancy), transportation, game admission, and all team activities. The only thing you won't get to do is participate in the game. For more information, visit our Parents page.
